Drum Voices HealthRhythms Drum Circles and Tomball VFW Post 2427 are Co-Sponsoring a drum circle group especially created for Veterans and their family members. Drum circles, through the non-verbal expression of drum rhythms, have helped veterans find a new avenue to build the bond of camaraderie common to those who served in the military. They gain a sense of group connectedness with other veterans through the social interaction and recognition of the similarity of their service experiences. When sharing the drumming activity with family members, it helps them experience a special activity that strengthens their family sense of togetherness and opens new avenues of communication.
